Church Partnerships
Hey, Tim here! I partner with churches for a single weekend — offering pay-what-you-can portrait sessions for the community while documenting the life of the church at no cost to the congregation.
I care deeply about creating images where people feel genuinely seen and at ease.
When I’m with you, I’m not just documenting what your church looks like — I’m trying to capture what it feels like to be there.
How it works
There’s no cost to the church.
The weekend is made possible through pay-what-you-can mini sessions with your congregation on Saturday.
For many families, couples, and individuals, this becomes an opportunity to have photos taken that they might not otherwise prioritize.
What I Provide
• Sunday morning coverage
• Staff & clergy headshots
• Building and exterior photos
I pay special attention to the moments that often get missed — conversations before and after worship, the people working behind the scenes, and the small interactions that reveal the heart of a community.

Why This Matters
When someone visits your website or social media, they’re often asking:
“Would I feel comfortable here?”
“Would someone like me belong?”
Perfectly polished images don’t always answer those questions.
Real moments do.
A genuine laugh. A conversation after worship. People who clearly care about one another.
Those are the moments that help someone imagine themselves walking through the door.
common questions
How can we promote the mini sessions?
I provide ready-to-use graphics and simple promotional copy.
Is this disruptive to worship?
No. I work quietly, without flash, and aim to be unobtrusive.
How can we use the images?
However you’d like — website, social media, newsletters, print materials, and more.
Can we speak to another church you’ve worked with?
Absolutely — I’m happy to share references.
Why I Do This
I’m in church on Sundays anyway, and these partnerships have become one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
My faith has deeply shaped the way I see people and community. For me, this work is about more than documenting a service — it’s about capturing the warmth, connection, and sense of belonging that help a church feel like home.
I believe churches do some of their best work in the small moments: conversations after worship, shared laughter, people showing up for one another, and the quiet ways communities care for each other week after week. Those are the moments I’m most drawn to photograph.
